GREENSTONE was founded by Eitan Baron in 2006 in order to
counteract the "build fast and cheap" philosophy endemic
to New York City property developers.
695 Degraw is the first project Baron has undertaken.
Working with only three apartments gave him the
liberty to customize each unit as if he were going to
live there himself, and he was able to realize his ideals
for a high-efficiency building that's both
environmentally friendly to the city and cost-friendly
to its residents.
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
In 2002 Baron co-founded a construction company and worked for several such
developers. He saw that much of the new construction going up in Brooklyn and
Manhattan was being built with little concern for quality. Baron didn't want his name
associated with these jobs. He left the business and decided to develop one
small-scale project at a time.

Custom design, high-end materials, and never
cutting costs are all part of Baron's building
concept, and his flagship project is GREENSTONE.
